Luca Escoffier

Graduated in Law from the University of Parma, Italy, LLM in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Turin. Alumnus of Singularity University (GSP'10).

Worked in law firms and as legal/IP manager for the Italian cluster of molecular biomedicine before moving to Seattle, USA, in 2008

Visiting lecturer at the University of Washington Law School where he obtained a certificate in Business Administration from the Foster School of Business at the same university in 2010

Former Fellow of the Stanford-Vienna Transatlantic Technology Law Forum,  Invited researcher at Waseda University,  he is currently a special lecturer at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Tokyo, where he teaches courses on technology transfer and technology commercialisation.

Co-founder of several startups (Innoventually, 2045Tech, Usque Ad Sidera, etc.) and manager of the EU-Japan Technology Transfer and Space.Japan Helpdesks at the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation in Tokyo.
