Earlier this spring, Fariza Abidova served as a judge at a global startup pitch event "TIB Pitch" hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government at Tokyo Innovation Base. The event brought together high-performing startups from across Japan, many of which originated from leading Japanese universities and were already backed by investors.
A notable moment included an address by Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike, who spoke to reaffirm Tokyo’s strategic commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and accelerating innovation. Her active involvement reflects growing public-sector momentum behind Japan’s startup ecosystem.

Trusted Corporation will continue to actively engage in the innovation landscape in 2025, participating as ambassadors, panel moderators, and ecosystem facilitators, contributing to cross-border dialogue and innovation exchange.
Japan's Blossoming Startup Landscape
Japan’s startup landscape is experiencing rapid growth. Tokyo’s startup support budget increased to ¥52.5 billion, up from ¥45.5 billion in 2024, with targeted investment in green transformation and global expansion initiatives.
Events like Venture Café Tokyo Global Gathering 2025 further highlight the ecosystem’s expanding international reach, having gathered over 1,000 participants from 84 countries in a single day, including more than 600 international attendees.
For the past five years, Trusted Corporation, CIC Japan, and Venture Café Tokyo, where Trusted’s headquarters is based, have played an active role in developing Japan’s innovation infrastructure. This collaboration includes working closely with founders, corporates, and policymakers to build an open, globally connected ecosystem.
