This past May, the Trusted team took part in SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025, Asia’s largest open innovation event, hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
At the event, CEO Fariza Abidova moderated a panel titled: “Learning from Successful Cases of Open Innovation: The Forefront of Co-Creation Between Green Startups and Large Corporations.”

The discussion welcomed panelists from Bosch, ASUENE Inc., and Tensor Energy, who presented real-world examples of collaboration between green startups and corporates, particularly in the areas of energy and decarbonization. The session focused on how structured partnerships are enabling breakthrough solutions in sustainability and emissions reduction.
Outside the formal program, Trusted reconnected with partners, clients, and collaborators from both the Japanese and European startup ecosystems, engaging in informal exchanges on innovation trends and new partnership opportunities.

SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025 was twice the scale of the previous year, featuring startups and participants from Japan, Asia, the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Central Asia. The event highlighted the increasing momentum of Japan’s innovation landscape, particularly in terms of its global connectedness and openness to cross-sector collaboration.
